WHOSE PERMISSION ARE YOU SEEKING?

I wrote this post 3 years ago when I was at a major turning point in my life. I was stuck, looking back while trying to move forward.

As I read it again today, I smiled to myself because I remember how scared I was to make decisions. And yet that is what I needed to do to get moving again.

If you are stuck or need some inspiration read on. And trust me it gets better❤️:

"Sometimes we seek advice from those that are ahead of us, trusting that we can learn one or two things from them. Other times we just want to get a different perspective, hoping it will inform our decision.

The challenge with external advice is that not everybody has good intentions. The more advice we seek the harder it becomes to discern who means well and who doesn't.

I recently found myself in this predicament and I was failing to take action because I was going round in circles, digging myself deeper into a pit of indecision!

But someone prompted me to break this pattern. A coach who reached out and challenged me with compassion and not judgement.

Our conversation initially felt like an overplayed song (to be honest🤦🏾‍♀️😬), but it triggered a major shift in me that gave me a burst of energy I'm still trying to keep up with!

So what's the lesson?

🙏🏾 Let go of the noise!

🧘🏾‍♀️ Listen for the answer from within...the answer is already there!

👌🏾 Then be courageous and act on it...watch how things fall into place.
